It is just another day here in good ole still ville. i love it here. so i really love my friends too. i may not have much that matters in this world, but i do have some really great friends and to all of you who make my life worthwhile, THANK YOU! i love you and will cherish you forever!

howdy folks!

so i'm back for a few weeks from kamp. even though i want to be there right now with the kids i'm tryin to make the best of this town and the few friends that are still are here. i miss everyone from school a lot and i'm so excited about next year. i have a house this year and its gonna be the place to be! hopefully everyone will come over all the time!

today in church God revealed something about my life in a new way:  INSTEAD OF STRIVING FOR HOLLINESS WE TRY AND GET AS CLOSE TO SIN AS WE CAN.

how come instead of wanting to be the best and be the most holy because he is holy, we take the gray areas in life and define them as close to wrong as we can get and still be able to call ourselves christians? i have struggled with this myself but it has finally become so relevant. another mentor of mine also said when it comes to drinking and other things that aren't defined in the bible as wrong we have to make our choice based on if it causes our fellow believer to stumble or not. i know i could make a choice to drink on my 21st birthday and i would be able to handle it and it wouldn't cause many problems in my life, but on the other hand my younger sister could be watching me and think to herself, well my sister did it and she's a christian it must be ok to do, then she would fall into a trap and get sucked into the drinking world. this goes for anything too.

instead, why don't we hold each other accountable by not encouraging questionable behavior or choices we know in our heart will not draw us nearer to the Lord. there are so many ways to have fun and there will always be those gray areas in our lives, but i encourage you and pray that i too will choose the way that helps us become holy. tell me what you guys think, do you agree?

okay so enough of the seriousness!! its summer go play and lay in the sun soakin up God's glory! read a book: 'redeeming love' and 'The atonement child' by francine rivers are awesome!
